Online Hunter Education Follow-Up Classes

This is our online follow up California Department of Fish and Game class with the only difference is most of the participants will be age 17 and under, and their parents.
This session can be bundled with the February Weekend Skills Camp and the February Week Break Camp See below for more information

Age: Open to ages 17 and under and MUST be accompanied by parent or legal guardian and must sign waiver of liability provided the day of the exam.

On-line portion of the class is required and available at Hunter-Ed.com, HunterExam California or International Hunter Education Association.
The on-line course in itself will not get you a valid hunter education certificate. Once you have completed one of the above on-line courses (6-10 hours), you will still need to attend the 4 hour review, practical exam, and written exam with our certified hunter education instructors as per California Department of Fish and Game.
Access is permitted to the 4 hour follow-up class only after a student has completed the written Home Study or On-line component of the class. Students MUST complete the online class portion PRIOR to attending the class. Students MUST bring Online Course Completion Receipt/Certificate.
Class will be approximately 2.5 hours of review and 1.5 hours of examination.
Hunter Education cards will be awarded at the end of the session for those who successfully pass the examinations.
*This class is an online/home study class. There is NO LIVE FIRE however you must demonstrate competency of safe handling of firearms (provided, please do NOT bring any firearms to class).
Minors (under 18 years of age). MUST be accompanied by parent or legal guardian and must sign waiver of liability provided the day of the exam.
You must legally be able to handle a firearm to be able to attend the class.
Please attend only if you have completed an Online Class from one of the on-line courses above and printed your completion receipt. There are 100 questions on the test. Only 50% of the questions are covered in the review, therefore, the online portion must be studied to pass the test.
Student Must bring state or military issued photo I.D. and know SS#.
Student Must register at least 5 weeks prior to class date to assure attendance.
Class size ranges from 3 to 24 students.
